We are a non-profit organization thatbrings together experts in different disciplines and scientific areas interested in the discovery and development of new antibiotics necessary for the fight against multi-resistant bacteria.

Currently 1,200,000 people die every year from multidrug-resistant bacteria.

By 2050, these numbers are expected to increase to 10,000,000 deaths per year.

Without new antibiotics, the efficacy of cancer treatments, transplants, complex surgeries, and many other advances in modern medicine is at risk.
AD-ES aims to raise awareness and collaborate with policy makers and health authorities on the need to promote the discovery of new therapeutic agents for the treatment of infections caused by resistant pathogens.
AD-ES is also committed to communicate and raise public awareness of the phenomenon of antimicrobial resistance and its consequences on global public health.
